Infrastructure for Multi-use Urban Plaza

Project Description

The development of the Multi-Use Urban Plaza in Benghazi City, Libya, involved the design of a grand wedding hall, a small wedding hall, a luxurious five-star hotel, an expansive commercial center, a series of restaurants and cafes, a recreational area, water features, in addition to a number of supporting facilities. The infrastructural utilities concluded under this initiative included water supply and wastewater and storm drainage networks. Water supply network components included water supply and fire fighting distribution systems. Meanwhile, wastewater and storm drainage networks components included a sewerage network (gravity network, force main profiles), storm drainage and flood protection systems, and a sewerage pump station. In addition to the effective coordination implemented between above-mentioned networks and other utilities, a sewer CAD hydraulic analysis was conducted.
