Project Description

The building design Won First Prize in an International Architectural Competition.

It is designed to be a symbol in its place and its form derived from the intersected swords of the motto drawn on the Omani flag creating an inner court in between to emphasize the 2 main separate entries of the building one of the customers and the others of the VIPs.

The symbolic concept could be read from the airplanes as the project is near to the airport.

The design aims to use maximum area without waste, separate circulation between VIP customers, audience and employees, create sustainable building and create iconic design suitable with the Omani culture and identity. The building comprises a basement for 1000 cars (30,000 sq m), lower ground and upper ground  and 4 floors above ground with total built up area of  65,000 sqm.
